Do you need to make  money for Christmas? It’s closing in fast and there may be some more gifts you need to buy. Instead of getting into debt this Holiday season, it’s much better to just earn extra cash. And since this blog is about writing, here are some strategies that will help you earn extra cash.

• Find clients. You can sell your writing services by finding clients at places like Rentacoder.com and oDesk. Those are the sites I use right now. If you are already established at those sites, it will be easier to find last minute gigs.
• Revenue sharing. Make some extra cash on revenue sharing sites like Bukisa and eHow. Research keywords and promote your articles and watch your earnings increase.
• Sell PLR. If you are good at writing keyword articles, another option is to sell PLR packs. Start a website advertising the PLR you have available. All you need to do is find a niche, research keywords, and write one article per keyword. Each pack should have 7-10 articles in it. A common rate is $1 per article - but you sell more than one pack. So if you write ten articles and sell the batch for $10, if you sell 20 of these you’ll have an extra $200. Not bad!

Those strategies can get you started. The only problem is you may need to wait a little bit to get paid. But if you write fast and can churn out quality work, you’ll get paid close to Christmas.
